NORTHERN v. TERRACE END. This evening the Northern Bowling Club will engage four rinks from the Terrace End Club in furtherance of its plan for a series of inter-club evening games. The Northern rinks will lie os follow:—H. Stallard, Thirtlo. Larcomb, Stuart (skip); Bryce, McMurray, Stiles. Moxon (skip); G. Mills, Teale, Rabotie, Bryan (skip); Valentine, Kirk, Wort, Robinson (skip). AINSLIE SHIELD. The following two rinks will represent Terraco End in an Ainslio Shield match 'o-morrow : —Knowles, Collier, Helsby, Skinner (skip); Bee, Evans, Boys, Dixon (skip). VETERANS’ VASE MATCH. A veterans’, vase match was played yesterday when the Manawatu rink, who held the trophy from last year, were defeated by a Northern team —Andrews, Beattie, Palmer and Robinson (skill) by 19 to 10. The losers were Hunter, Gough, Low and Broughton (skip).
