Britain is now exporting tinned peas, loganberries and strawberries. In respect of the latter fruit, it is npw ahead of the Americans. A table presented at to-day’s meeting of the Palmerston North Hospital Board disclosed that 409 rations were issued to 58 cases during October, as compared with 431 rations to 82 cases during the corresponding month of 1931. In Palmerston North itself 215 rations were issued to 27 cases as against 190 and 27 respectively.
