PREMIER’S DECLARATION. OTTAWA, Oct. 12. In outlining in the House of Commons details of the trade treaties made at the Imperial Economic Conference, the Prime Minister, Mr R. B. Bennett, declared: “Canada will carry out her part under the agreements in the spirit in which they .were made, and no good Canadian will dare suggest that any Empire country will be behind us in recognition of those obligations, not evidenced necessarily by the written word, by the very warp and woof of the agreements we have concluded.”
