In the third round of the men’s singles at the Pacific Coast tennis championships, Perry beat Edward Levy, 6—l, 3—6, 6 —4; Austin beat John Murio, B—6,8 —6, 6 —2; Satoh (Japan) beat Manuel Alonso, 6—l, 6 —3; Destefani (Italy) beat Henry Prusoff, 6 —4,4 —6, 6 —2; Gerald Stratford beat Kuwabara (Japan), 10 —8, 5—7, 6—3. In the doubles, Bryan Grant and George Green beat Perry and Austin, 6—l, 6—B, 6—3.
