COMPETITION AWARDS.
Competing in tho section for oratory at the Wellington Competitions last evening, Mr B. J. Barnao, of Palmerston North secured third place with his prepared speech on Beethoven. Mr T. E. Bonds, of Palmerston North, was highly commended for his contribution in the section for sacred solo.
