SHOOTING ACCIDENT.
LITTLE BOY INJURED

HAMILTON, Aug. 28. As the result of the accidental discharge of a .303 rifle Malcolm Sutherland, five years of age, a son of Mr E. Sutherland, of Tuhikaramea, was admitted to the hospital with a bullet wound in the neck. The child was playing with a 14-year-old companion when the rifle they were handling was discharged. His condition is serious.
