RESERVOIR FILLED.

TIRITEA WORK SUSPENDED. Operations at the Tiritea reservoir have now been suspended for the season. Following upon the closing of the outlet pipe on Friday, the basin behind the dam had filled completely last evening with the help of a heavy week-end fresh, and was over-flowing. It is estimated that 33,000,000 gallons of water accumulated in 48 hours. It is intended to keep men busy removing timber from the upper reaches of the stream to prevent any possibility of a recurrence of the past trouble.
