The famous Arliss monocle, so closely associated with the actor in real life and in some parts lie plays, has not been seen on tho screen fer several pictures and is not shown in his newest production for Warner Brothers, “Alexander Hamilton,” which is now at tho Regent Theatre. “Bought” tho Warner Bros, production tarring Constanco Bennett, now at tho Palace Theatre, presents a selfish modern girl. Aliss Bennett is supported in her brilliant portrayal by Ben Lyon, Richard Bennett (her father), Dorothy Peterson and many others.
The Bohemian life of tho Paris art colony is pictured in Constanco Bennett’s new film, “Tho Common Law,” the current feature at the Kosy Theatre. Many of the scenes aro played in a typical Paris studio. Joel AlcCrea also plays in the film in a tine role.
