THE CHATEAU, Aug. 25. The New Zealand amateur ski charm* pionship, held in conjunction with the Ruapehu Ski Club’s annual ski sport* ut National Park, were continued today, whan the New Zealand slalom ehamjpion&hip was decided. The Australian, T, W, Mitchell, proved, an easy winner, over _ a "tiff course of 340 ft., covered twice. His times, wer* o2.sec-,, and 64 3-osec, The winner gave a remarkable exhibition of skiing on the pinnacle course. The snow* clad Ruapehu dress-circle was lined with hundreds of spectators.
