ALLEGED THEFT OF DRUG.

AUCKLAND, Aug. 24

As the result of inquiries made by Detectives Hunt and Mahood after their arrest of Norman Kenneth Sligo near Grafton Bridge on Monday afternoon, on a charge of being in possession of dangerous drugs, the same two detectives, at 1.30 this morning arrested a second suspect, a young man. He appeared before Air AV. R. McKean, S.M.j in the Police Court this morning, charged with stealing, on August 10, eight tubes of adrenalin aiuL cocaine, two tubes of cocaine hydro, five tubes of half-grain morphine, a box of 12 needles, one bottle of novocain, and one record syringe, of a total value of £3 4s 9d.
