COLYTON

Aug. 24.

For the conclusion of the Colyton pingpong season the members of tho club held a pleasant evening at the hall on Tuesday. Representatives were present from the Fcilding, Aorangi and Stamvay clubs, and altogether about forty couples attended. A ping-pong tournament was held, the first prize being won by Mr Worsfold (Fcilding), and Mr Groombridgo (Fcilding) was runner up. Mr Wales (tno president) presented tho prizos, after which a dainty supper was served and dancing was indulged in until midnight. An orchestra, Mr McDonald’s wireless set and Mr T. Wilson supplied the music.
