THE WENDEL MILLIONS.

CLAIMANTS ELIMINATED. The New York Surrogate (tho officer who has jurisdiction over probates and the settlement of estates) has officially recognised nine fifth-degree claimants to the £16,000,000 left by Miss Wendel, last of a family of recluse sisters, thus narrowing down the list to 27. Altogether 1800 claimants have been ruled out of Court. Several claims were made from Australia.
