BATTLEGROUND PURCHASED. The Australian Government has purchased a small plot of farm land near Pozieres known as “The V indmill Site.” at which Australians fell thicker than in any other battle, though not in such great numbers. ’llic Government is erecting a small commemorative tablet on the scene.
