SYDNEY. Aug. 17

Tho New South Wales Government has decided in tho interests of retrenchment to retire married women teachers numbering 1200 unless they can show that undue hardship will result to their families by reason of their dismissal.

About 300 unemployed student teachers will fill their positions.
