ALL BLACKS RETURNING.
FAREWELL AT SYDNEY
BLEDISLOE CUP PRESENTED.
SYDNEY, July 29. Taking the Bledisloe Cup with them, tho All Blacks sailed for Wellington by tho Zealandia this afternoon. They had a rousing send-off by Rugby Union officials and friends. The team was farewelled earlier aft tho Hotel Wentworth, when the cup was presented to the manager, Mr W. J. Wallace, on behalf of the New South Wales Rugby Union by the president, Mr H. D. Wood, who remarked that the team was one of the youngest and cleverest ever sent to Australia, equally popular o:n and off the field. Mr Wallace, in acknowledging tho presentation, said that he was extremely sorry to leave Australia, where tho hospitality was so wonderful. Other speakers were Sir James Parr, Mr W. Hill, and Mr W. Schmitt, NeW Zealand Trade Commissioner in Australia. ~ . , . The All Blacks had a jolly time last night at the Sydney University Sport 3 Union’s ball, where they were tho guests of honour. A dozen pretty girls gave them a surprise. The girls were dressed in black football togs, even to the shorts. Their jerseys were buttoned at the side and on the shoulders were large silver buttons. Tiny black capo were perched on the side of then? heads. They danced their own creation, the All Black ballet.
