The draw for play on Friday in tho final of tho Davis Cup between the United States and France is:— Borotra v. Vines, Cocliet v. Allison. Sunday: Borotra v. Allison, Cochet v. Vines.
It is considered' that th© luck of tho draw favoured America. The French would have liked Cochet to meet Vines on Friday, when fittest. As Borotra is playing both in the singles and tho doubles the team is likely to be Cochet and Brugnon. Cochet, therefore, faces Vines in the third successive day’s play, whereas Vines rests on Saturday. The American doubles pair is expected to be Allison and Van Ryn. ENGLAND v. AUSTRALIA. In the England versus Australia tennis match at Scarborough, Perry (England) beat Hopman 6—3, 6—2, 10 —8; Leo (England) beat Crawford 4 —G, 6 —3, 2 —6, 6 —2, B—6.8 —6.
