LOCAL GOVERNMENT.

(British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, May 23. Mayors, town clerks, and other officials from towns of 44 countries arc attending in London a local authorities’ congress, which Lord Derby opened today. Over 1000 delegates are present. They were addressed by the Minister of Health, Sir Hilton Young. Problems of local government will bo discussed, and several days will be spent in inspecting systems operating in Britain.
