SEVERE EXPLOSION
; N.S.W. TOWN SHAKEN. FIREMAN KILLED. (United Press Association— By. Electric Telegraph —Copyright.) Received May 18, 2.10 p.m. SYDNEY, May 18. An outbreak of fire at Armidale this morning reached a stock of explosives in Braund and Company’s store, lhe resultant explosion wrecked the building and killed Fireman Jones and injured two others seriously. Several were sliglrtly hurt. The whole town was shaken. Many windows were smashed in nearby premises
