(From Our Own Correspondent.) KIMBOLTON, May 17. The third shoot for Mr A. Stackhouse’s trophy was fired on the Kimbolton range on Saturday at 200 and 300yds ranges. Tho results are as follow: —0. Jensen, 42—41 —7—90; A. Whitehead, 38 —35 —15 — 88; D. Banks, 45—41—2—88; D. Jensen, 39—42—7—88; H. Gntcholl, 35—39—12 86; V. Jones. 48—38 —scr —86; A. Stackhouse, 37—408—85; A. Luxinoore, 28— 21—21—70; W. Edney, 40—17—13—70. On Saturday the local footballers mot the Rangiwahia team on the Kimbolton Recreation Ground. The game resulted in a win for the visitors by 14 points to 6. Mr R. Shannon, of Waituna, controlled the game. On Saturday afternoon there was a fair attendance of members on the golf links, when a challenge match wa3 played. Tea was served by the ladies. During tho week-end another delightful dance was given by Mrs Gray for Miss Joy Thornley, of Ashhurst. The drawing room was cleared for dancing and the guests enjoyed tho entertainment to the full. An excellent supper was partaken of in tho breakfast room, tho tables being decorated with autumn tinted flowers. Amongst those present, were: —Mr and Mrs Gray, Mr and Mrs Richardson, Mrs W. Hair, and Rev. P. A. Stanley; Misses Joy Thornley, wearing pink taffeta and green lace; S. McDonald, emerald green satin; B. Barry, apricot georgette and gold lace; L. Hair, rose pink crepe-de-chine and silver lace; M. Bid, blue georgette; H. Beard, green organdie; J. Murray, lemon georgette; E. Murray, broderie Anglaise; Messrs Olsen, Beard (2), Hair, Hansen, Stone (2), Thompson and Murray. Miss M. Red, who has been tho guest of Mrs Hair, returned to her home on Saturday. /.
