Community sings havo become very popular in tho largor cities in tho Dominion and as Palmerston North is now a city it is the duty of somoono to provide this fiopular method of entertaining the music overs of Palmerston North; therefore tho Palmerston North Garrison Band feel that they havo a duty to perform to tho citizens and they havo now completed arrangements with Messrs Pritchard and Crowthor, thoso two well-known artists from 2YA, to lead tho singing. I'hcso gentlemen will bo assisted by local artists as well as items by tho band. At community sings elsewhere, conducted on tho samo lines, tho houses havo been heavily taxed to accommodate tho audicncos, in fact hundreds havo been turned away. Palmerston North patrons should bo on tho sceno early on this occasion as the Opera Houso hero has a limit to its holding caapcity.
