!MR C. A. SCOTT’S PLANS. (United Press Association.—By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright.) Received April 19, 1.30 p.m. LONDON, April 18. Mr Charles Anderson Scott, the airman, interviewed at Lympne, said that the weather forecast was that conditions would be definitely good. He would be off to Australia shortly. (Mr Scott intends to try and beat Mr C. W. Butler’s record to Port Danvin in eight days. “I am using the machine I flew from Australia last year. 1 will carry 100 gallons of petrol, which will give a range of 1700 miles,” Mr Scott stated. Mr Mollison and Mr Scott made a bargain in March 19 —that each would break a big flying record and return to London, meet and celebrate by a dinner for two. Asked if he would keep his bargain with Mr Mollison, Mr Scott said: “Certainly. I had a message from Jimmy to-day, wishing me the best of luck.”
