Air R. E. Dixon, Rangiotu. waited on the board and enquired if lie could obtain spoil to strengthen a bank. A ledge in the Alain Drain would provide the material ho desired.—lt was decided to leave the matter in the hands of the chairman.

Air Dixon also requested that part of No. 1 drain bo deepened where spoil had fallen in.—The board left tho matter to the chairman to finalise. Tenders wero dealt with for the cleaning of certain drains. Tho chairman said complaints had been made that the floodgate near Taikorea bridge was leaking and admitting water to Air James’s property.— It was decided to prosecute enquiries in this connection, and Air Print is to make an inspection.
