Mails will close as under: For Great Britain, Ireland and Europe (specially addressed correspondence only); also all States of South Amorica, via Monte Video (due London Ist May), per Kent! from Auckland), Tuesday, 22nd March, at 4 p.m.; supplementary mail 8 P For Australian States, South Africa and the East per Maunganui from Auckland--Wednesday, March 23, at 4 p.m. (Supplementary mail 8 p.m.). For Great Britain, Ireland and Europe marked via Australia (due London April 30) per Maunganui from Auckland Wednesday, March 23, at 4 p.m. (Supplementary mail 8 p.m.) Synthetic scent, which costs less than one-tenth the price of the. perfumes distilled from flowers, is helping to destroy the famous perfume industry in the south of France.
