CHAMPIONSHIP COMPETITIONS. The tennis championships *of the Palmerston North Boys’ High School have now been finalised. Ongley ivon the senior championship in a three-set match, and Stuckey won the junior championship after a similar struggle. Detailed results of the concluding matches of the competitions are as follow: Senior championship.—Third round: Swallow beat Gardner 9 —l. Semifinals : Hatch beat Spencer 6 —4, 6 —5; Ongley beat Swallow 6—l, 6 —3. Final: Ongley beat Hatch 2 —6, 6—4, 6 — l. Junior championship. Fourth round: Cope beat AV. Hooper 9 —4. semi-finals: AValker beat Cope 10—8; Stuckey beat Davidson 9 —4. Final: Stuckey beat AValker 4—6, 6 —2, 6 —2.
