DRIFTING ICE.

FATE OF HUNDREDS OF FISHERMEN. BLIZZARD INTERRUPTS SEARCH. SEVERE STORM IN GULF OF FINLAND. (United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph— Copyright.) Received March 11, 8.45 a.m. HELSINGFORS, March 10. A blizzard is raging in the Gulf of Finland and has interrupted the air search for 700 fishermen and 100 horses marooned on an icefield and believed to be drifting toward the Estonian coast.

The ice-breaker Tarno has been sent out to search, but the blizzard greatly reduces the prospect of a rescue. The storm is so severe that steamers are unablo to attempt the passage of the Gulf. Consequently, Finland is practioally isolated from the south.
