Received March 11, 12.5 p.m. LONDON, March 10. In the House of Commons, Dr. H. C. Haslatn asked whether it was proposed to add any Autralian loan to the Treasury trustee list under the 1900 act without a revision of the terms of safeguard, to as to protect the trustees against a recurrence of the recent delay in the New South Wales interest payments. Sir Y. Warrender replied that _he was not aware of any new Australian loan prospects. The question, however, had not arisen. Later. The reply regarding the safeguards does not satisfy the. questioners, and further questions will be tabled asking for the removal of New South AY ales stocks from the trustee list, or the publication of notification of default as a warning against further evasion.
