MARSHAL HINDENBURG’S r OPPONENTS. Received February 24. 8.5 a.m. BERLIN, Feb. 22. Negotiations for a joint opposition candidate against Marshal Hinaenburg in the Presidential election failed amid thunderous applause. The Nazis gathered at the Sports Palace to-night, when Dr Goebbels announced that Herr Hitler was being nominated. Subsequently the Nationalists and “Steel Helmets” announced that they were nominating Colonel Duesterberg.
