MINISTERS’ STIPENDS. Per Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH, Feb. 23. The Methodist Conference to-day discussed ministers’ stipends and decided to leave the matter to the ministers and laymen of the circuits with a view to an agreement for a temporary ten per cent, reduction, excepting in cases where less than the minimum stipend was already being paid. The question will be reviewed at the conference next year.
