MAGISTRATE’S COURT.

A claim for £2l 8s lOd for the printing of labels and incidental expenses incurred was brought by H. L. Young, Ltd. (Palmerston North) in the Magistrate’s Court to-day before Mr J. L. Stout, S.M., against D. G. Riddiford,commission agent, of Hastings. Mr Grant appeared for plaintiff and Mr Cooper for defendant, who said he-had ordered the goods with authority on behalf of a company. After hearing evidence ' the Magistrate said that certainly in equity and probably in. law defendant was responsible. Judgment was given for plaintiff for £lo 10s 6d, with costs.
