SUNDAY’S FIGURES. During: the week-end 'there was a considerable improvement in the water pressure figures in Palmerston North. The gauge at the Central Fire Station showed excellent figures for Sunday, the indicator reaching 77 lbs. at .three o’clock, this being higher than it has been for many weeks. The satisfactory position is attributed to a large extent to the non-usage of hoses.
