BOXING.
Per Press Association. NELSON, Feb. 22. , At Takaka, in a professional boxing contest, Ted Oxley (Pahiatua) defeated Jim Simonsen (Blenheim) in a technical knockout in the eleventh round. The fight was stopped by the local constable, whose action met with the strong disapproval of .the crowd.
