METHODIST CONFERENCE.

ELECTION OF OFFICERS. Per Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH. Feb. 18. The annual conference of the Methodist Church in New Zealand was opened to-day. The retiring president, Rev. E. D. Patchett, introduced the presidentelect, Rev. M. A. Rugby Pratt, who, after the induction ceremony, delivered his inaugural address . Other officers' were elected as fol-low:—Vice-president, Mr J. Voss; president for 1933, Rev. A. J. Seamer; secretary for 1933, Rev. J. H. Haslam.
