ROMNEY RAM FAIR.

OFFERINGS AT MASTERTON. Per Press Association. MASTERTON, Feb. 19. Buyers from many parts of the North Island attended the Masterton Ram Fair yesterday, when flock and stud Romneys were offered. There was keen competition for quality mimals, the prices realised for these being a little in advance of last year’s. The inferior and lighter 6ort, of which there was a fairly large entry, were not sought after, and passings were numerous. Top prices for studs were: 60 guineas, secured by Mr A. L. Wheeler, of Marton, with Mr A. E. Anderson, of Taratahi next with 57 guineas. Flock Romneys ranged up to 13 guineas.
