MILSON

CRICKET MATCH. (From Our Own Correspondent.) MILSON, Jan. 25. During the week-end the Milson Crickot Club played a match against Bulls. The weather was fine, but a cross-wind proved troublesome to the batsmen, low scoring resulting. Tho pitch and outfield were inclined to bo rough, and the fieldsmen had no difficulty in retrieving tho ball. Bulls batted first and made 85, Anderson scoring 15 and Prichard 13. Milson could reply with only 40, tho deadly bowling of Anderson, who took six wickets for 12 runs, being largely responsible. In their second strike Bulls knocked up 67, Sadler 14 and O’Connell 13 being the chief scorers. Milson was saddled with tho difficult task of making 113 runs to win, but tho bowling'of Anderson and Prichard settled any hope they may have had of attaining this total. Tho match was played at Bulls and resulted in the home team winning by 52 runs. The following are the individual scores: —

Donaldson left by the express on Saturday to visit her relatives at Tutamoo (North Auckland). Mrs T. Hutchison, of Leeds Street, has anrived back from Wellington. Mrs T. McKenna, who has been visiting Wanganui, has returned to Milson. '
