ENGLISH SURGEON
TO VISIT NEW ZEALAND. On January 2, Mr C. H. Fagg, F.R.C.S., Elngland, who is a representative of the Royal College of Surgeons in England, will go out to Australia and, his business being completed, he will go on to New Zealand, where he expects to arrive during March (states an English correspondent). Air Fagg has been commissioned to take out to Australia the gold mace, which is being presented to the Royal College of Surgeons in Australia as a token of goodwill on the part of the English College. While there he will deliver the Syme Oration on behalf of the Royal College of -Surgeons, and in both countries he will deliver some addresses to the medical faculty. Air Fagg is .a man of much distinction, and his visit to the Commonwealth and the Dominion is sure to be greatly appreciated. He is a surgeon of Guy’s Hospital. He is a member of the Council of the Royal College of Surgeons, and was a vice-president for two years. He aLso served ns a member of the Court of Examiners from 1920 to 1930.
