RESTORATION IN MANCHURIA

FORMER EMPEROR’S ACTION

SHANGHAI, Dec. 4. A Mukden message to-day strengthens the rumour that there is impending the restoration of tne monarchy of Manchuria with the re-enthrone-ment of the former Emperor, Puyi, lately known as plain Mr Henry Puyi, and the last of the Manchus.

Puyi is reported to he already creating an order of nobility. Yu Cliun-chan, a member of the local peace preservation committees, has been created a duke and other members have been given similar titles. ADVANCE ON MUKDEN. TOKIO, Dec. 4. It is reported, but not confirmed, that the Chinese forces are advancing on Mukden from Chin-chow.
