POLLING AT AUCKLAND.
Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, Dec. 2. There was ideal weather for polling to-day, but the morning’s indications were that the poll would not be heavy, although the polling officers anticipated a busy time in the late afternoon. There was general comment on the apparent lack of interest. At Onehunga, the polling this morning was declared by one to be the slowest for forty years, and the interest much less than in the municipal electiou.
