BRITAIN AND CYPRUS.
GREEK PREMIER’S OPINION. The Greek Prime Minister, M. Venizelos, sai l in the Chamber of Deputies that if Britain decided that the occupation of Cyprus was no longer necessary, or the occupation of part of the island would suffice, that might be able to satisfy Cypriot national aspirations. The attitude of the population must be most loyal in order that it could not l>e thought that Britain had yielded to pressure. Happily, the whole Greek race regarded Britain ns protectress of its precious friend.
