RANGITIKEI.
MARTON. Dec. 1. At Taihape yesterday, Rangitikei defeated Taihape by seven runs with three wickets in hand. As was expected, tho personnel of the south side was different from that selected, but all acquitted themselves well. T. C. Lowry proved a tower of strength for Taihape while Cameron maintained the splendid form he has shown consistently this season, making his century in a chanceless innings. Rain prevented any pla£ in tho morning, but a Btart was made early after lunch. There were several showers through the afternoon, but none occasioned an adjournment.
