REFUSAL OF ADVANCE. j 8 . A grazier of tli© Albury district in New South "Wales, who owns £70,000 worth of land and a large number of stock, lately applied for an advance of £BOOO from his bankers. The following reply was received from the head office of the bank: —“While the present Government remains in office we are not making any further advances in New South Wales.”
