RUGBY FOOTBALL.
SATURDAY’S ATTRACTIONS. Mattors havo reached an interesting slage in the senior championship of the Manawatu and Saturday will find Kia Toa and Old Boys trying conclusions, and on the outcome of this game will depend whether Kia Toa will go on to play off in tho final with United. With Massey College on vacation, United will gain two championship points by default, but, with Kia Toa on equal terms with United, it will be necessary for tho double blues to carry the day against Old Boys to havo the right to again meet tho whites. While form on paper points to Kia Toa prevailing, tho uncertainty of football might well bring with it a surprise for Old Boys have been playing better of late. The day will also mark tho introduction of tho subsidiary competition when Feilding Old Boys and Feilding will meet at Johnston Park. These two teams havo had some great battles this season and another keen gamo is anticipated.
