RESEARCH WORK SUBJECTS.
SYDNEY Aug. 18. Aboard tho steamer Hobson’s Bay, which arrived at Sydney from England yesterday, are five white rats en route to New Zealand, which are being brought out for experimental research work by Mr I. Cunningham, a scientist attached to the Department of Agriculture. Four other rats died from the heat in the Ited Sea.
