BUNNYTHORPE.
(From Our Own Correspondent.) / BUNNYTIIORPE, Aug. 17. The annual meeting of the Glaxo suppliers took place on Thursday in tho Public Hall, there being fifty present. Mr J. W. Clevely presided and reported on • tho work done by tho committee during the pact year which had been satisfactory to the company and tho suppliers. Ho complimented the herdtester tor looking after their interests. The secretary, Mr J. O’Donnell, read tho bal-ance-sheet which showed a credit balanco of £5 lEte. Tho report and balance-sheet were adopted on the motion of tho chairman. The following committee woo elected: Messrs J. W. Clevely, J. O’Donnell, R. James, D. Iliggie, J. Smith, F. McKenzie and W. Andrew; suppliers’ tester, Mr R. James; auditor, Mr W. B. Duthio. Tho company’s offer of payment for tho coming season was fully considered and it was decided to leave it iu tho hands of the committee to make tho best arrangements with tho company. Genera.business of interest to tho suppliers was considered, especially herd-testing and the testing at tho factory. Votes of thanks to the outgoing committee, the auditor and the chairman brought the meeting to a closo. On Saturday aftornoon a friendly gamo of football was played on tho Recreation Ground between the United seniors and the Bunnythorpo juniors and a keen and interesting game took place. Both sides threw the ball about. Tho gamo resulted in the visitors scoring 14 points to Bunnythorpo’s 3. Mr E. Clevely controlled tho game.
