In connection with the Central Relief Committee’s work, a number of peoplo have signified their willingness to make jam if bottles are supplied them. The oommittee, therefore, appeals for spare receptacles, which may bo left at the depot in Broadway. The Railway Department announces cheap tickets will be issued from 20th to 29th August inclusive, in connection with tho spring school holidays. The tickets are available for return until 26th September, and can be purchased from railway offices at any time prior to travel date.
