to a lower level than has been known for very many years. Acting on the advice of our agents the manufacture of standardised cheoso was abandoned early in tho season. A considerable portion of our cheese is still unrealised; this has been valued conservatively, and if the recent improvement in the market bo maintained there should be a fair surplus. Your directors propose to pay in August a further >)d per lb. on butterfat supplied from November to May, and a further payment when tho cheoso is all realised. The directors to retire are Messrs L. H. Holdaway and I. W. Long, who are eligible for re-election. Tho services of Mr Ll Lovelock arc again available as auditor. ‘‘Statistics for tho season ended 30th June 1931, are as follow:—Milk for cheesemakiiig 3,382,885 lbs; 148,490, lbs butterfat; buttorfat separated, 3,408 lbs; average test 4.42; cheese manufactured, 379,657 lbs. ’ (169 tons 1097 lbs) ; lbs milk to 1 lb cheese manufactured, 8.91 lbs; lbs. cheeso to 1 lb. butterfat, 2.55.”
