INTER-ISLAND MATCH AT AUCKLAND. WIN FOR THE NORTH. Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, Aug. 15. The Rugby League match between the North and South Island teams was played this afternoon at Carlaw Park. The game resulted in a win for the North by 52 points to 23. RESULTS ELSEWHERE. Following are results of League football matches played elsewhere: — Wellington.—City 22 v .Old Boys 7; Newtown A 16 v. Petone 3.
