UNEMPLOYMENT RELIEF.
HOSPITAL BOARD’S CASE. Per Press Association. , WELLINGTON, Aug. 6. The strained position of the Welling ton Hospital Board in the matter of providing unemployment relief was placed before Mr Forbes to-day, by a deputation from the board, who pointed out that, at the present rate of expenditure, the board could not carry on relief after the end of September. Mr Forbes promised to consider further assistance for the board.
