THEFT ALLEGED
Per Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH Aug. 5. Twelve charges of .stealing moneys totalling £lO5, between February, 1926 and December, 1930, from Munro and ’Hickinbottom, tailors, were made against Robert John Munro, aged 56, before Mr Young, S.M., to-day. Munro pleaded not’ guilty, and was committed for trial. The police said that Munro and Hickinbottom had cafried on the business for many years in partnership. Either lrad been entitled to receive moneys for the firm and to pay them into a common account. It was alleged that Munro received the moneys and converted them to his own use without entering them into the books.
