■p. INQUEST ON CHILD. ' An Inquest was held to-day into the ..icitcumstances surrounding the death ' of Wallace Janies Smith, the two-and- . Behalf years old son of Mr and Mrs C. I®i’;iSmith, of Himatangi. Evidence &wiu»f‘given to show that the child had b,il»lded himself severely as the result W-pulling over a kettle of boiling Kr on July 25. He was admitted liffiflospital at 12.30 p.m. the following lijy but had died within two hours of Sfijunission. Dr. "Ward stated that MEvi admitted to Hospital the child ffljjS been in an extremely shocked iSEdition and had been quite pulseless. K re had been burns on the neck, NlKk chest, arms and part of the face rS||l the cause of death had been due The Coroner, Mr A. J. :Sham, returned a verdict in accord■Ke w ith the medical evidence.
