There was a moclerato attendance, and the track was in good order. Results: — WINTER HURDLES HANDICAP, of 120 sovs. Ono mile and a half. 2 Simoon, 9.6 1 1 Blacksmith, 9.2 2 6 Whakaari, 9.5 3 Also started: Princess Elizabeth 11.0, Coonardoo 9.7, Kamchameha 9.5, Masher, Russet Moor 9.0. Won by two lengths, two lengths between second and third. Time, 2.50. ARAPUNI HACK FLAT HANDICAP, of 110 sovs. Six furlongs. 2 Bob In, 9.0 1 1 Lorna, 9.0 2 4 Huntingdon, 10.0 ... 3 Also started: Sunny Sky 11.2, lago 9.7, Primax 9.2, King Peg 9.0, Queer Card 9.0, Hinetewai 9.0. Won by quarter of a length, a short head between second and third. Time, 1.6 2-5. MAIDEN SCURRY, of 100 sovs. Five furlongs, (weight 9st). 2 Lady Vane, 9.0 1 1 Sunny Song, 9.0 2 4 Megaphono, 9.0 3 Also started: Nuki Boy, Golden Area, Sublimate, Bird Call, Black Songster, Hunting Star, Kaneriki, Hunting Moss, Yoloco. Won by half a length, a n:csc between second and third. Time, 1.42 2-5. GOODWOOD STAKES. Received July 30, 9.10 a.m. LONDON, July 29. The Goodwood .Stakes resulted as follows:—Noble Star 1, Castle Derg 2, Blue Vision 3. Fourteen started. Won by three lengths, two lengths between second and third.
